Summary

 

The Procura Development Group seeks a motivated project management professional to fill a multifaceted role. Reporting to the Procura Development Manager, the Technical Project Manager is required to plan, facilitate, and coordinate product development services to internal and external stakeholders across the Procura Development teams.The scope of the role necessitates a proactive candidate who is diligent, comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, and thrives in an environment of change.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • • Uses agile software development methodologies to track multiple projects simultaneously
  • • Creates and executes project work plans and revises them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • • Identifies resources needed and prioritizes work assignments
  • • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of several projects
  • • Ensure that the impact of adding new projects to the team’s workload can be understood
  • • Active participation in daily Scrums, managing the adherence to prioritization of tasks
  • • Effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders
  • • Sets and manages customer expectations on Development projects, including regulatory and product roadmap projects of interest to the customer
  • • Owns and maintains JIRA Agile processes and workflows across the Procura Development Group

 

Qualifications:

 

  • • Familiar with fundamentals of software development life-cycle and with agile development principles
  • • Good working knowledge of JIRA at an administrator level
  • • Assertive – Must be able to ensure Agile concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls
  • • Conflict resolution - Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
  • • Attitude of empowerment - Must be able to lead a team to self-organization
  • • Attitude of transparency – Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust
  • • Customer-focused - Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
  • • Must have demonstrated experience as an Agile Scrum Master
