The Staff Accountant's responsibilities will include maintaining the accuracy of financial records and reports, performing balance sheet accounts reconciliations, assisting with close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining banking accuracy. You will also be assisting the Accounting Supervisor and Controller as needed and responding to management’s information requests and assist during audits.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • •   Maintaining accuracy of financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  • •   Responding to management’s requests and assisting with audits.
  • •   Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • •   Completion and distribution of royalty reports to third-party vendors and partners.
  • •   Preparation of month-end journal entries & reconciliations.
  • •   Preparation of bank reconciliations and daily cash reporting.
  • •   Review, edit, created procedures on performed responsibilities.
  • •   Other projects and duties as required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • •   Understanding of US GAAP is required.
  • •   Ability to prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for informational and operational use.
  • •   Experience with reconciling accounts, records, reports, and journals.
  • •   Ability to make sound, independent judgments within established policies and procedures.
  • •   Ability to organize own work, set priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • •   Ability to communicate to interact effectively with co-workers, managers, customers sufficient to convey information and to receive work direction.
  • •   Understanding of sales contracts and revenue recognition accounting standards.



  • •   Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • •   2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • •   Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • •   Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • •   Advanced skills with Excel.
